A short but sweet review :)

Saturday - Fast Ferraris!

This time I could also watch the qualis - most Saturdays I have to work (selling/babysitting books) - but not this time! :)

I was verrry surprised by the speed of the Ferraris, but Vettel took pole, YAY! Webber was very unlucky in his last lap, but nothing was lost.

This is also a good occasion to put the free Formula1.com application in the spotlight. Live timing, on my iPod Touch! It really enhances the whole experience, during the qualifications and the race. More info about this app here.

Sunday - High hopes for our Bulls!

Vettel was passed by the Ferraris immediately. Surprised by Alsonso's speed, and even more by Massa's speed I guess. Still, overall he did well, and it was good to see him on the podium on his home GP.

Webber never really got in the race I guess. The oilproblems of his car luckily didn't result in a DNF, and he managed to score some important points.

Hungary will be very interesting:

Will the Ferraris manage to keep up their pace?

Will McLaren be more competitive this time?

Will RBR have two drivers on the podium?

It's been an interesting season so far, and it will stay that way until the end I think :)

@MS: "Was Seb passed at the start due to overconfidence or underconfidence? " Interesting question! I think it's a mixture of both. Inconfidence: almost pushing Alonso against the wall instead on focussing on himself & his own abilities. Overconfidence: focussing on Alonso, as if there are no other drivers competing. @Chris: Thx for saying short & sweet is ok ;) @Johnny: I looove the F1 app, it's very interesting to see everybody's sectortimes in real time :)

good job Liz, I like it when blogs are shot and sweet otherwise I get bored quickly lol. @ MotorSunday, I think it was just a case of knowing Alonso was fast (After all there was only 2000ths of a second in it in practice) so he tried to scare him and keep 1st place, unfortunately Massa got a great start, and well, you cant be in 2 places at once. It did give him a fairly good track position for the corner I think.

Hi, great comments! Here's a question thats been bugging me: Was seb passed at the start due to overconfidence or underconfidence? His failure to cover-off Massa suggests he overconfidently miscalculated the risk from the Red car behind. Yet his move across the track to squeeze out Alonso suggests he was too preoccupied with worrying about the threat he posed? I reckon the whole Webber furore has knocked his confidence - hope he bounces back in Hungary!! Ferrari's to fall back - Mclarens to regroup Red Bulls on the charge!
