Hi, everyone! ^_^

How are you? ~~ <3

I'm here to ask if you could give me a little help. ^_^

Yesterday, at uni, the professor of Illustration class asked us to choose an idol.

Then she said we could use any techinic to creat an abstract illustration.

These illustrations will be exposed for a few days and only the ones our public look looks and says "yes, I can see/feel this idol here!" will have a good score.

The main point is that she said "Rapha, since you are a F1 loving, why don't you try Senna?"

And so it was decided.

It's reaaally exciting, but also has lots of responsability!! I mean, it's Senna! *0*~~

It's hard to think about resuming Senna in a A3 sheet. Absolutely challenging! *anxious*

So, if I say Senna, could you please say something about him?

Anything you feel like saying! =] It will help a lot! x3

(of course, I'll post the result here, after the illustration is done! =D )

My favourite phrase of him is "With the power of your mind, your instinct, and also with your experience you can fly high."

Fantastic! <3

Thanks in advance! ; )

This is my favourite Senna quote by John Watson: "I came through Westfield bend into Dingle Dell" when I saw a black car coming up in my mirrors and moved off line to let it past. It was Senna, and I then witnessed something that few people could have ever been privaleged to see from such close quarters. "As he came past me, not only was his car carrying so much speed, but he seemed to be braking, blipping the throttle, changing gear and throwing his car into Westfield Bend all at the same time. And at absolutely awesome speed. " The Lotus was dancing on tippy toes, on the very limit of adhesion, but he displayed this remarkable ability to retain his composure in such extreme conditions. I reckon I saw something very special that day: it was a little glimps of his genius" RIP Senna - The fastest man the world has ever seen.

Thank you for the comments!! =D They helped a lot! ^_^~ Because even if Senna is not an idol for me, but the idol, it's hard to remember much of his races, since I was born in 89'. ^^ So I have my (few) childhood memories of him... Everything else I learnt after his death. (.__.) And thank you, Ian, for the link!! ^__^ I so agree with you, his eyes were so intense, weren't they? <3 Sometimes I find myself scared of how Bruno looks alike him...

In my opinion he was the greatest racing driver ever and always will be! He had a talent that was so great and very rare that i don't believe we will ever see another racing driver like him! I loved the fact that he was so tough and commanding on the track but away from F1 he was so very giving to charity! He cared alot for everyone! Like Val i shall never forget the day he died as i spent most of it and the days following crying my eyes out....he was my idol and always will be!

The trailer for the upcoming Senna movie may help give you some inspiration..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4lh0rXu1BQ Like Kate, my immediate mental image is the dark intense eyes peering through helmet. A very passionate & religious man, capable of much compassion out of the car, but often ruthless and seemingly devoid of care for fellow competitors when in it.

I think just seeing his dark, intense eyes through the distinctive yellow helmet... an image that has been recreated with the arrival of Bruno in F1. And as willough said, his humanitarian work with the poor of his beloved Brazil.

My first life memory was senna in 1991, taking that ride on mansells car in silverstone. its what comes up in my mind when i think of him. i already supported him for a while, but i have some problems w long term memory apparently, so that one is the first thing i remember EVER (not only f1 related).

Although I was not a fan of his driving, I can say that it was sobering to know post his death, how the man who was known as the 'tough nut of F1', was so giving and kind charitably and I shan't ever forget that the day he died, in his wreckage was an Austrian flag, which he was going to fly post race in commemoration of Roland Ratzenberger, who was a driver that died on track a day earlier in qualifying...Such a poignant gesture that sadly turned into an irony.
