I love racing so much, but do you know that I don't drive… my driving licence is only an artificial thing in my purse *lol*

Dad taught me how to drive… my first car was a Mazda, its coloured maroon :)

I’m pretty good driver I guess… at least I didn’t kiss a tree like my brother did on his lesson… (thanks God, he didn’t join the Community, he’ll kill me if knew I revealed this to the world he he he)

But considering Jakarta’s traffic… it takes more than Michael Schumacher ability to survive here (you read me… even a 7 times WDC will get frustrated if he’s here *lol*) – I don’t like driving in town, I’ll pass the duty to the person who had more patience rather than me ;)

I had my big accident view months after I got my licence… nope, it’s not in Jakarta, not in Indonesia and it’s not even me who behind the wheel. But it’s a hell of traumatic experience.

Just imagine that you’re in another country, you’re in a rush to catch the last flight, and it’s the first huge crash you ever had.

I only remember there's sudden heavy sounds and I was throwing to the other side of my seat. Later I knew that we're got sudden punctured tire on high speed. It's a total nightmare Lads... :(

It’s all just confusing for me… all I knew, I was crawl outside the car and lay down on grass... breathe is hurt, so I thought 'okay, I might broke my ribs here' - I did the rontgen later, and thanks God, not broken yet but got huuuge bruise there.

So when all the people came… I refused to go to the hospital, well… I feel quite okay… it’s hurt but I’m alive. And I just wanna go home… I decided not call my family that moment because I knew it would only freak 'em out (especially my Mum, who even scream when we’re reach 100 km/h…).

So no, thank you… after we did our obligation like explained everything and make sure all my friends are okay, we’re taken to the airport and amazingly… the flight delayed! I’ve got my flight home then :)

After that experience… I start to lost my guts, I’ve got panic easily… I’ve made lots of mistake… I think I couldn’t even park my car if there’s no double empty space on parking lot.

One day I hit the roads separator and car gets stuck… okay, that’s it… I don’t wanna drive any car on the road… no way!

Its affect my karting hobby too… I love karting so much, even after I gave up the car key. I still went karting view times for fun (btw, go kart seems much more simple without clutch, no?? *lol*) - but I’ve became extremely slow… I’m simply lost my guts.

But view days ago, I had lunch with someone…

he said “you still don’t want to drive??”

I replied “I was destined as passenger not a driver… I honoured the duty to you as a man”

he laughs “really??… I saw you, you’re a good driver, you might beat me on the track…” - this moment I saw his lunch menu actually… I really think he ate something wrong or something… but nothing weird on the plate tho’ *lol*

“but it’s with go kart and I’m sure you will let me win anyway…” I grinned.

"listen... on the public road is different... I can be very carefull with my driving but what about others?? you knew people tend to be careless sometimes... what if I crash someone else?? and they will get so pissed if I made something stupid on the road and block them off.. I don't like being horned..." I told him that. It sounds stupid... but that's what I feel :(

“see? sometimes you just thinking too much.. on road people might get insane sometimes… but everybody will avoid each other, nobody wants to crash their own cars… keep calm, that’s all you need… I knew you’re panic when people start to horn you like mad… but whatever… they will just curse a bit then that’s it... nobody will shoot you if you block their way... and if your car prepared well then it's supposed to be work well too”

I was stunned... because that’s also my Dad’s advice… Maybe I should consider it more since two person that I trust have said the same thing *lol* -

So, well... okay, I’ll give another try next week… if you’re around Jakarta and see a navy Toyota MPV do something stupid… that could be me… ;) be patience a bit :)

"I love racing so much, but do you know that I don't drive..." Likewise, I don't even have a driver's license, and I'm 29 *rofl*
