Well, if you were an impartial observer, that was some race. And it was a good race if you're a Mark fan. Not such a great afternoon if you follow Sebastian.
But it was a bloody good spectacle. And praise should go to the boys in the garage. As one of the mechanics said after the race, they did nearly as many stops on Sunday as they do in a pit stop practice session. But they never missed a beat all rain-sodden afternoon. And slick pits combined with Kubica's missing the box markers pushed Mark on to the second step of the podium.
There will be the predicted unconstructive commentary on Seb's race, but an interesting point of view comes from DC, a man who's been in dark places himself. Check it out on the team's website.
In the Energy Station this weekend the team played host to the musical megastar Stuart Price. He's the man who produced the latest Brendon Flowers, Take That, Scissor Sisters and Kylie album. Although you may know him as one his many aliases: Jacques Lu Cont, Les Rythmes Digitales, Man With Guitar or Thin White Duke - a name given to him by one of his other clients Madonna. Nothing to do with David Bowie per se, but an allusion to his pallor and size when he worked with her.
