BORING...!!! Max Mosely, you idiot! Well, the time is up for those holding onto their "opinions"/..... We need some action when it comes to the black licorice rubber-stuff on the rims. There must be a super-super-soft option tyre, and while we're at it, introduce a mandatory 2nd pit-stop across the paddock! It's a matter of urgency FIA, Bernie, who ever it is needs to amend the rules to make watching the SHOW, a worthwhile excercise. NOW, DO IT NOW, it's not too late!

To much mechanical grip allows to much late breaking. Harder tires not softer tires would force earlier breaking risking more mistakes during breaking and cornering. Most overtaking is because of driver error but with tires glued to the ground and the driver skills not many errors. Down force level seems to to not matter if you look at last year there was no more or no less overtaking on low downforce tracks or high down force tracks. The only races where overtaking happens frequently is wet races where mistakes are easy to make and mechanical grip levels are small. Possibly do like GP2 as well reverse the grid of the top 8 (because as is right now fastest car will be first unless bad start and slotted in with slower cars behind so theoretically after start there should be no overtaking unless problem or error). Give points for quali performance. Say 5 points for fastest, 4 second and 1 for 5th fastest. This will encourage fast quali performance but getting 1st means you start 8th

i think its the cars as a result of the rules like the engine freeze and control tyre and also the fact that almost any time someone overtakes in the past two years its "investigated by the stewards" they need mor encouragement and also the tracks really dont help the matter. alot of these new herman whats his face designed tracks are totally rubbish to watch. the only one i liked last year of his tracks was abu dahbi. the classic tracks seem to still have more thriller factor and they need to recapture that.

I'd say that I agree with you Tommy but i also agree with ozgoat, for me its the combination of having cars that can't follow each and the preserving of tyres on heavy fuel cars, for example Seb is stuck behind Alonso unlike last year he can't even try to get close because the dirty air now ruins his tyres and therefore his race. To put it simply this year (unless it rains) it will be impossible to overtake in the top 8 after lap 2 (unless it rains) I'd like to be proven wrong :)

Sorry but I don't agree. I think it's the cars that are to blame for the dull racing because cars can't follow eachother. I still don't get how people think having refueling and more pitstops is going to produce overtaking on the track....
